Warren & Emily SwanTrips → 2010 Jackson Hole Bible College

This short (in days) vacation was to simply bring Amy to Jackson Hole Bible College, a mere round trip of 2,707.3 miles.  After attending morning service at our church (Prairie Hill Baptist), we finished loading up and left on Sunday afternoon, 22 August.  We stayed near Kanopolis Lake and visited Mushroom State Park as we had back in our 1990 trip to Colorado, which was before Amy was born.

We camped at Rawlins, WY then arrived at Jackson Hole Campground by Tuesday afternoon.  This is where we had stayed 2 days back on our 2008 trip to Glacier National Park, and we would stay 2 days here this time.

The next day we helped move Amy into her room at the college, then did some site-seeing in Jackson.

After viewing the Tetons (from outside the park), we rested, then went to a supper given by the college for students and parents.  The evening was concluded with a long but interesting talk for the parents on what and how the students will be taught in the 10+ months.

It took Warren & Emily 2 days to return the 1,300 miles to home.  The picturesque high plains provided our main and only site-seeing from the van.
